Venice Gondola Afternoon Tour Itinerary

No trip to Venice is complete without experiencing a world-famous gondola ride. Our afternoon Venice Gondola Tour shows you around the beautiful city as you float down the Grand Canal and other lesser-known waterways. You’ll quickly understand why Venice’s canals are so special, as an expert Venetian gondolier peacefully pushes you along the calm waterways.

The gondola tour begins near the beginning of the Grand Canal and explores both the Grand Canal and other quieter waterways for a relaxing ride. You’ll pass along many iconic landmarks such as the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Mozart House, the Palazzo Gritti, and the Accademia Bridge. There’s so much to admire everywhere you look, including the incredible architecture that creates the famous city we all know and love today.

After you’ve explored the Grand Canal and the scenery bordering the waterfront, your gondolier will take you around some of the city’s charming narrow canals. Though the smaller canals are not as famous, they continue to feature incredible architecture full of history. Your gondola will pass beneath some picturesque bridges that are low enough to touch as you glide under them. There are lots of historical buildings that you’ll see while gliding along the canal, including the Palazzo Molin del Cuoridoro, which hosted a performance by Mozart in 1771.

Once you have discovered some of the smaller canals, your gondolier will lead you back to where the tour will unfortunately come to an end. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience to explore the canals of Venice and the city’s most historic sights!
